Nine-card exploration spread九宫格专题
Conditions, action and review
The Nine-card exploration is an intermediate spread of nine cards arranged in three layers: conditions, action and review. The first layer (Context, Resources, Constraints) maps your current situation. The second layer (Next action, Key task, Support) turns that map into concrete next steps. The third layer (Signals, Facts to verify, Adjustment) is for looking back and refining your approach.
It suits questions that involve both understanding a situation and deciding what to do about it, such as a project, a habit, a relationship pattern, or any topic where you want to observe before acting and then review afterwards. It helps turn a vague concern into checkable clues.
This spread does not answer predictive or outcome-guaranteeing questions, and it is not a substitute for medical, legal, investment or gambling advice. It never tells you what will definitely happen; it helps you notice what you can do now, what still needs checking, and how to adjust your direction.
Uses all 78 cards by default.

How to read this spread
- Read in layers first, then in columns: the first layer shows conditions, the second shows action, and the third is for review; together they form a line from now to next step.
- Reading a column, connect the three cards (conditions, action, review) as one set, checking whether they support or contradict each other; contradictions are often the places to examine.
- Compare Next action with Key task: Next action is usually a small daily step, Key task is the core focus; if they point in different directions, your energy allocation may need rethinking.
- Facts to verify reminds you which parts are guesses and which are facts; after the reading, make a short list of things to confirm in the real world.
- End by turning the whole spread into one actionable next step, such as 'do one small experiment this week', rather than stopping at interpreting the cards.

Common questions
Do I have to draw the nine cards in a fixed order?
No. You can draw layer by layer or column by column, or start with the conditions layer and return to action and review later. The key is to read all nine as one set for the same question.
What if two cards seem to contradict each other?
Contradiction is useful information. Notice which layers they belong to, then ask whether conditions and actions are mismatched, or whether a review signal is telling you to slow down. That tension is often the most practical clue.
Can this spread predict a definite outcome?
No. It is designed to clarify conditions and possible directions, not to guarantee results. For health, legal or financial matters, consult a qualified professional; treat the cards as reflection prompts only.
