Execution and review spread四张执行牌阵

Multiple commitments, execution and habits

Execution and review is a four-card spread for people juggling multiple commitments, side projects, collaborations or habit changes. It does not predict outcomes. Instead, it breaks one ongoing effort into four observables: the core, the execution challenge, what to reduce, and the signal to review.

It suits questions like: What is the real center of this project? Where does it keep snagging? What can I drop or delay? What would tell me it is time to pause and review? It is a poor fit for: Will this succeed? Should I quit or invest? And anything requiring medical, legal or financial advice.

This spread offers angles, not verdicts. You remain the one who executes and chooses.

Beginner spreads use the 22 major arcana by default; you can switch to all 78 cards.

How to read this spread

  • Start with Card 1, the core, and treat it as the reference for the other three.
  • Card 2, the execution challenge, often stands in tension with Card 1: what the core wants is where the challenge pushes back.
  • Card 3, reduce load, should become one thing you can do soon; phrase it as a concrete action.
  • Card 4, the review signal, is an observation point, not a deadline. Note it somewhere you will see it.
  • Read the four as a loop: core and challenge first, then reduce and signal, so the spread becomes see, lighten, check.

Questions this spread suits

Common questions

Can I use this spread every day?

You can, but avoid re-drawing for the same issue repeatedly, as it can become reassurance-seeking. Once a week or per phase works better.

What if the cards seem contradictory?

The tension is the message: core and challenge are pulling against each other. Log it, then ask which side matches your actual week.

Do I have to follow the advice?

No. The cards offer angles, not orders. Pick one reduce-load action, test it, and adjust based on what really happens.
